Advocacy
We believe conversation is one of the most powerful tools for change – for shifting perception and opening up new ways of thinking. Through events and creative collaborations, we bring together our community with voices from across hair, beauty, fashion and culture. These moments create space for conversation, connection and shared experience – bringing lived experience and industry together to explore accessibility from new perspectives.
Beyond Vision Panel Discussion
In September 2025, Hair & Care hosted a Panel Discussion featuring leading voices within fashion, beauty and advocacy, and moderated by Maliha Shoaib (Vogue Business), in conversation about what genuine inclusion in these industries looks like.
Held at the iconic Sea Containers, London, after the premiere of our short film Beyond Vision - the evening brought together brands, industry leaders, members of our community and charities.
The panel discussed what it means for both brands and consumers when people with sight loss are considered and included. The conversation invited the audience to see beyond traditional notions of beauty, explore what accessibility really means, and consider how our industries can create a more inclusive and equitable future for all.
Panellists included Lucy Edwards (Blind Advocate & Author), Jane Manley (DeafBlind Research Analyst - RNIB), Chet Lo (Fashion Designer), Alex Peters (Dazed Beauty Director) and Anna Cofone (Hairstylist & Hair & Care Founder).
