Hair & Care partnered with Susan Fang for their SS27 show, held among the open-air public courtyard of The Barbican Centre. With brutalist concrete structures juxtaposed by a large artificial lake, fountains, and natural greenery, the immersive environment aligned perfectly with the sensorial, tactile nature of Susan’s designs. For the first time, the guided touch tour was held directly after the show, bringing the atmosphere and excitement backstage for our guests to meet Susan and explore the collection. Susan Fang’s embrace of sensory and tactile design offered a natural opportunity to explore how fashion can be experienced beyond sight, creating a meaningful step towards a more inclusive industry.
