Safeguarding Statement

Hair & Care is a CIC that specializes in working with VIs, children and young people. The CIC is committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable groups and this is integrated into every aspect of their work.

 

The organization recognizes its duty of care towards the children and young people it serves and remains vigilant to any potential risks of abuse. Consequently, Hair & Care takes proactive steps to protect and promote their well-being.

The organization follows a rigorous safe recruitment process, including conducting DBS checks, when hiring staff. Hair & Care has established clear safeguarding procedures, policies, and guidance for all its personnel to ensure that prompt and robust action is taken when necessary
